Well... what a top night at The Beacon ! - Massive thanks to all of you who came out to support us on a damp, chilly and very foggy night. Hope you all got home ok !
Our next gig is a very significant date NOT TO BE MISSED as we sadly have to announce that Jules is leaving us and this will be her last blast with us. Ideally located close to her home in East Peckham Village, it will surely be an emotional night for all of us. Julie has been with us right from the start and will be sadly missed by us all (especially those who play behind her on stage when she wears those tight leather trousers !)
We all wish you well in the future Julie...X
We hit the East Peckham Club on December 3rd - For tickets (£5) - Call 01622 871339 - Some may be available on the door.

A MASSIVE thank you to Darren Williams for the huge amount of work he and his helpers put in to make the charity event at The Warren one of the most memorable nights The Skatonics have ever had! We are so proud to have been a part of all of this,
BIG thank you to Woody from MADNESS for coming along and playing with us and hopefully raising more money than we could have hoped for. (Click HERE to see a short clip on you tube)
It is estimated that you all helped raise around £30,000 at last nights event alone...Amazing!
To DANIEL's family, we all hope that last night helps to confirm that Daniel and all his brothers in arms have the respect of everyone in this country whose respect is worth having! We are proud of what you do and you will never be forgotten...

WOTCHA ! Big thanks to all of you for your continued support and for those that braved the cold January/February/March nights to come out and see us at our early 2011 gigs. (if you weren't at Kemsing last week, you missed our best EVER hog-roast night, top gig!)
Lighter nights, longer days - Bring on the Spring/Summer outings, starting with a mighty return to THE BEACON COURT, Gillingham this Saturday 9th and then back to a favourite venue of ours, the 6-in-1 Club in Tonbridge on the 16th.
These two gigs sadly will be the last two for our long standing guitar man Andy Android who is moving on to pastures new.. Andy was the 3rd tonic to join the band back in the early stages and we will miss him greatly. He was a great help and massive inspiration throughout and we wish him well (and half price gig tickets !)
But, fear not as from May we will be unveiling our new guitar man, starting with the massive event that is 'the BMF show' on the 14th.
Cheers....

WOW ! what a night. The Beacon Court again was rammo. Great to see so many regulars, some old faces and some new.
Great energy from the crowd (and a touch from the band too!) kept the place stompin' all night. Our line-up may change slightly from time to time but we are still hitting that 'sweet spot' every time - So, thanks for all your continued support, we really appreciate it...
Bring on the next one ! cheers x

Well, what do we say ? Awesome wasn't it. The whole weekend was amazing for us... To quote from the organisers FB page "The Sun shone, the Skankers skanked, the Scooters smoked, the Rude Boys strutted, Jill Corbett hats appeared everywhere, the pubs ran dry :-), the outlets looked ready to explode, the valves on the sound system
glowed red-hot :-)"
Big .....BIG..... thanks and love to John and everyone connected and involved with the whole festival - a total success and a sure fire defo for next year, bigger and better, bring it on !
Check out some great pics on our Live pics page (thanks to John Rinaldi for a few tasty shots !) our Facebook page, Skabour's FB page and then check out the vid clips on you tube... (see our sounds page)

Of course, for us, the weekend was slightly tinged with a drop of sadness as it was Rick's last gig(s) with us. He's moving on to ventures new and of course we wish him all the best and will support whatever he does. We now, officially unveil Chris as the new frontman - you may have caught him saturday on the harbour stage banging out a few tunes with Rick at the end.. We look forward now to some great times with Chris....starting this Saturday 11th sept at The Kelsey Arms, Tunbridge Wells - full 2hr set, only a fiver on the door ! See you rudies there...
